The prerequisite everything else assumes
Every other track we run leans on this one. The echo modules assume the haemodynamics taught here; the interventional modules assume the coronary anatomy and the pharmacology; the acute care simulations assume the whole of it. Learners who skip ahead usually get through two or three modules before stalling on an assumption nobody stated.
These are that track’s core texts.
Module correspondence
Clinical assessment and examination map to the opening modules, where the unfolding cases withhold investigations entirely and force a decision on history and examination alone. Ischaemic disease, heart failure, valve disease and arrhythmia follow across the middle blocks. Hypertension, lipids, adult congenital lesions and pharmacology close the track.
How the reading is set
Post-session, as everywhere on the platform. The case exposes the gap; the chapter closes it. Learners who pre-read tend to recognise the case pattern and stop reasoning, which defeats the format.
Who enrols
Learners beginning the platform, internal medicine physicians taking on cardiology work, family doctors, and trainees who want the specialty built in order rather than accumulated piecemeal.
PDF texts with lifetime access, retained after enrolment ends, from CardiologyBooks.com.
